Overnight
Monday. To sleep again sometime after ten to awaken (again) at five-thirty. OK, five-thirty it is. Listened to Democracy Now! before getting up and walking to breakfast under cool overcast skies with little or no smoke in the air to arrive at about the usual time and sit down at my table and start on the papers. Reasonably clear headed, I'd say, feeling good.
The two strips of bacon, scrambled eggs, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee again, couldn't really think of anything else I wanted, finishing up after nine to set out for home under still overcast skies taking the usual set of pictures plus one or two.
Home to take the selfie, run to the bathroom and settle down at the computer in that order. Edited and posted yesterday's entry, processed the morning pictures and started here, putting off finishing until tomorrow morning. Tired, guess. The blood pressure behaving, but writing wasn't in the cards.
Later. No baseball game on Prime and so one or two not very good movies on the tablet, the news and that's been the afternoon.
Evening. Nothing on television and so to bed to listen to an interview on KPFA on how to psychologically come to grips with climate change to gain balance and begin to deal with the problem. Interesting program. Lights out after nine, the temperature reasonably cool in the bedroom and so no need to have the windows open overnight.
