Why

Tuesday. To bed not long after nine, lights out at ten to then awaken at six-oh-five to again take my time getting up before walking to breakfast on another clear and soon to be sunny morning, the air still cool and the eyes watering, but the attitude good after a decent night's sleep.

Threw caution to the wind and had the one pork chop, eggs over medium, country potatoes, toast, sliced bananas and coffee for breakfast. When they're out of mixed fruit they often substitute sliced bananas. No complaints. We'll see if this leads to ocular anythings later, although I suspect not. They're rare, these ocular episodes, and perhaps it just happened that one breezed through the wall on Sunday when I wanted to be out shooting the marathon.

The usual set of pictures walking home, setting the camera to f 8 again and having the pictures turn out a little sharper. So we'll sit down with the manual later and do some reading. If I'm going to use this small mirror-less camera in the mornings I'm going to learn how to use it. He said.

Over and over.

Later. Bright sun, seventy degrees of all things, and so a walk to the lake with a longer lens on the camera to see how many birds might be found, finding some, more than in the recent past, but none close enough to the shore to demand a photograph. Were there fewer than I'd noted yesterday? Thought so, but who knows?

Hungry at eleven or so, even with the large breakfast, back from the lake to the burger drive-in to pick up a grilled chicken sandwich to bring home for lunch. Not a lot of energy, but then that's not altogether unusual for my late mornings. Ate the sand which and then lied down for twenty minutes. Still needed to go by an ATM.

A bus to the Broadway ATM and then by the apartment house construction site for all of five minutes to take snapshots of their progress before the return bus arrived. Felt tired, the late morning tiredness now getting worse and pushing into the afternoon.

Took the pictures, returned to the bus stop, getting there two minutes before it arrived, taking it home to download the pictures and listen to the news while running them through Lightroom and Photoshop. Proper pictures would have required more time and thinking. We've not been spending more time or doing any thinking these last several days/months/whenevers, I'm afraid.

Evening. Really tired and so spent most of the rest of the day lying down trying to find something on the tablet to no avail. Felt better around eight o'clock, but have no idea why.
