Right

Thursday. I was tired last night and so off to bed early to get to sleep early and awaken at just before six, right on the mark. Another clear morning and so off to walk to breakfast and have the Crab Cake Benedict, fruit cup and coffee. No real dancing with danger there as it doesn't contain any cured meats or such, but still manages to sit in a grey area, as I'm not one hundred percent sure it hasn't caused problems in the past. We'll know soon enough. We always do.

A bright sun walking home, after having lingered longer than usual over the papers, to then edit and post yesterday's entry. The Internet is still slow and so I'm looking forward to an AT&T tech who's scheduled to arrive this afternoon. I do hope it's not the computer, but their modem. Another item on our “we'll know soon enough” list.

Later. A decent day, although I'm trapped here inside until the AT&T technician arrives. It's still early afternoon, so he or she is due within the next three hours. What's the bet it's toward the end of the window? Ah, well. As long as it gets done.

Evening. No one arrived. The phone message they'd sent confirming the appointment beeped with a link that said they knew they'd missed the window, but would still try to come, but now that it's after six I'm assuming no dice. So we'll talk to someone tomorrow. Funky Internet speeds, too slow really to use the tablet as it bounces you out of whatever you're in or watching, but at least I can continue with the pictures and the journal.

Watched Democracy Now!, fixed something for dinner, checked out Charlie Rose at eight and then went to bed.

At least you got things done while you were bottled up here in the apartment?

Yeah, right.

The photo up top was taken at the San Francisco Saint Patrick's Day Parade with a Nikon D5 mounted with a 200mm f 2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
