After Ten

Sunday. A little late in getting to sleep, but awakened at just before six to get up on a cold morning, take the blood pressure to find it about right, in the low one-twenties over the sixties, getting up for good at seven after listening to the news and TUC Radio. Drove to breakfast under an overcast sky, parked right in front of the restaurant, entered the indoor dining area and settled down at my table with the papers.

The avocado and mushroom omelet, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee, one fifty-three on the scale this morning, finishing up after nine to walk to the car and drive home. Took the selfie in the lobby, took the blood pressure (a little higher, but not high enough to take the first med of the day) and settled in at the computer to cobble together yesterday's entry (I hadn't touched it after yesterday morning's scribblings), post, process the morning pictures and start here.

Later. Watched the first half of the 49'ers-Falcons game that started at one, returned to watch the last ten minutes of the game hunkering down with the tablet in between. The blood pressure was too high by noon, then again at three, and so the two doses of the med allowed for the day have been taken. Depressing to see the systolic numbers in the one-forties though.

Evening. Nothing on television I wanted to watch and so back to the tablet again until nine and lights out to watch the clock turn over until not all that long after ten.

The photo up top was taken at the 2015 San Francisco LGBT Pride Parade with a Nikon D4s mounted with a 70-200mm f 2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
