Sleep

Tuesday Awoke in time to listen to the KPFA five minute news followed by Democracy Now! at six, not that I can remember what they were reporting, you understand, setting out to walk to breakfast under partly cloudy skies, the air as cold as it's been these last many days, arriving at the usual time to turn on the dining room lights and settle in with the papers.

The two strips of bacon, scrambled eggs, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee again, finishing up as usual not long after nine to set out for home under still partially cloudy skies that allowed better exposed pictures. Snapshots. Whatever I should be calling them. I've been noticing the Ford bike rental kiosk has pretty much been filled with bikes these last weeks and so I'm assuming people aren't renting them now during the pandemic. Same with the scooters, haven't seen any placed on the sidewalks when walking now in well over a month. Not sure what that means for now or for later.

Home to take the selfie in the lobby and settle in at the computer to finish and post yesterday's entry, process the pictures and start on this. It usually takes me until noon and noon now it is.

Later. Called the cardiologist's office to see what happened to the Protime blood thinner reading taken on the 2nd of the month, learned it was low and they wanted to have another one taken tomorrow as it's now been too long to suggest an adjustment. My fault for not calling right away, these blood drawing visits are expensive.

The usual watch this and that on the tablet, one a movie I'd seen decades ago when it was released in theaters (and I had not a clue as to the story line, although it came back to me scene by scene as I watched). Still, at least it kept my interest.

Evening. To bed early again as there was nothing I wanted to watch on television, turning the lights out by ten but then having a lot of difficulty in getting to sleep.

The photo up top was taken at the 2016 Temescal Street Fair with a Nikon D5 mounted with a 70-200mm f 2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
