Money
Sunday To sleep at about the same time to awaken not long after five to half sleep then until six and listen to CounterSpin and TUC Radio before getting up at the usual time and drive to breakfast under a decent rain, the first we've had in quite a while. Parked, entered the restaurant dining area and turned on the light to settle in at my table and start on the papers.
The single pork chop, scrambled eggs, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee, the weight holding on the scale this morning and I was hungry, finishing up well after nine (not really having done justice in reading the Times) to walk to the car and drive straight home to take the selfie in the lobby before settling in here at the computer and go through the usual morning finish yesterday's entry, post and start this routine.
Later. OK, we seem to have finished up two series I've been watching now forever, one that's been releasing a new episode every Sunday and one that has had all its episodes available, my mentioning this because I've now spent a whole lot of time watching them and bitching about them and now I'm too embarrassed to say which ones they are. How much time have I wasted between them? Thirty hours? We'll blame it on the pandemic, although I wonder if I wouldn't have done the same thing without the COVID excuse.
We do blather on here.
Not much choice, otherwise. Watched some football in bits and pieces. Not particularly tired, although attempted a nap without success.
Evening. Nothing on television or the radio when I got to bed not that long after eight. The evenings have pretty much all been the same with all the public radio and television stations raising money.
