Yet

Saturday To sleep after ten to awaken at ten minutes to six having gotten what I'm guessing was a decent night's rest. I'm often wrong and practice doesn't seem to make perfect, but we'll say it was alright. Up at the usual time on an overcast morning, the weather people forecasting rain later today and tomorrow morning and so I drove to breakfast, more curious to see if the car would start with a catalytic converter in place than any thoughts I might get wet. Arrived to enter the dining area, turn on the lights and settle in with the papers.

The two strips of bacon (they delivered three, two of them stuck together), scrambled eggs, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee, finishing up at just after nine to head for the car and drive straight home, take the selfie in the lobby and settle in here at the computer. I hadn't written all that much of yesterday's entry yesterday and so finished out the day's events, remembering there were one or two things I wanted to include when in bed last night, but couldn't remember what they were this morning. Ah, well.

Later. Didn't really rain this afternoon or, if it did, I didn't notice. They're saying a real storm later tonight and through the morning.

More time on the tablet, less time with the news (other than the morning papers) and a very brief attempt at a nap to round out the afternoon.

Evening. Made it a point to check out I Never Sang for My Father (1970) with Gene Hackman, the PBS movie at eight, having read an old Roger Ebert review before hand, decided after ten minutes it wasn't going to hold my attention and so to bed early again to spend another hour on the tablet watching a series I'd recently started that really didn't quite make any sense to me yet.

The photo up top was taken at the 2016 San Francisco LGBT Pride Parade with a Nikon D5 mounted with a 70-200mm f 2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
