Flier on a window on Broadway in Oakland.

Do At Night
Friday. Cold and clear last night, but nice, adding a needed blanket before curling up early in bed. Back now from breakfast, the sky clear, the sun bright, the wall heater turning the apartment into an inviting place. It's good to live in an “inviting” place, albeit one with funky furniture and too many books.

How can anyone have “too many books”?

Too heavy to pack along with you while fleeing when Homeland Security arrives.

Because you're planning on blowing something up?

Because I'm paranoid from reading too many books.

Something different needs to happen today is my guess. Let's see what it might be with the next paragraph.

Later. OK, a thirty minute walk all the way downtown. I haven't walked all the way, recently, but still that doesn't count as something different. It's early afternoon, still time.

Later still. Well, there's an evening ahead. Maybe come up with something “different” to do at night. Here in Oakland.
