Ten
Tuesday. Another lights out by ten to awaken at five, roll over and blink a couple of times, to find it was now six and so up to check the weather to see that it wasn't raining as expected and so up and out the door to walk to breakfast. Not all that cold, but there was a bit of rain that started as I set out, becoming stronger by the time I arrived before seven. OK, maybe I should have driven, but we'll see in another hour an a half when we've finished breakfast and the papers.
The two strips of bacon, eggs over medium, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee, glancing up from time to time to check on the rain, it coming down quite hard there for a couple of periods. OK, finished up by eight-forty and set out in a light rain that wasn't really a problem unless it got worse. It was nice enough not to get worse.
That bicycle is still sitting attached to the post with its front wheel missing, so I assume it's indeed been vandalized. Home to take the selfie in the lobby before sitting down to post yesterday's entry and process the photographs I'd taken on the way home. The usual routine.
Finished the photographs, but took a break before starting here, as I felt a very light ocular migraine coming on. How long has it been since I've experienced these symptoms? Been a while. Maybe my mentioning it recently was tempting fate. Anyway, an hour lying down to let it pass. Again, only the lightest of symptoms, but even the light stuff will put you down.
Later. Up to take a bath. Today was the day they said they might call me to jury duty and I'd checked their web site to see they didn't need anyone this morning, but check after eleven to see if they needed me later. Realized “later” must mean tomorrow or later and I should have thought of that when I made tomorrow's haircut appointment, but they said they had no need and let me go for another year. The court is in Dublin, no a trip I wanted to take.
A brief walk to get outside to take a picture or maybe pick up an ice cream sandwich at the 7-11 look-alike, took a picture, but then headed right back to the apartment. A friend suggested on Facebook I get off my ass and get a CBC blood test to see if they can identify this tiredness problem and so I'll check with the doctor. Too easy to blame it on age when it's really something else that has a solution.
Evening. Checked Lola Upside Down at six and bailed for the same reason I've bailed on earlier episodes: either it or I am too spacey to make any sense of it. Retired to bed and started a Chinese series I assumed would be too airy-faery to be of any interest and got hooked, not shutting it down until three episodes later after ten.
