This

Sunday. Lights out at a decent hour, the sleep seemingly good, to awaken then at six-twenty, although I'd been in and out of sleep during that last hour. Seemed about right, though. The blood pressure 100/73 on first getting up. No way I wasn't going to take the god damned thing before setting out the door to drive to breakfast on a sunny morning, arriving a minute or two after seven, the restaurant dark, but open when I tried the door and so another day has begun.

The plain waffle with sliced bananas and strawberries with coffee because that was the only thing that appealed. Waded through the three Sunday papers as best I was able and finished up about nine. I think. Maybe a little earlier or a little later, I don't hold these things in memory anymore unless I make it a point.

Or look at your watch.

A single picture while heading to the car. Since I don't worry about carrying one of the big cameras when driving and so bring one of the DSLR's, the picture was in focus. Fast and accurate focusing is not the strength of the small Nikon 1 V1 I carry in the mornings when I'm walking.

A three day weekend. Be curious if I get up and out the door before it's over.

Later. Watched the Sunday episode release of Mr. Sunshine before taking a bath and that turned out to be the excitement for the afternoon. The blood pressure was 132/79 at four and so took a full dose of the blood pressure med. We'll talk to the doctor's office tomorrow and arrange trying a smaller dose, no dose at all doesn't seem to work.

Evening. The blood pressure was 112/68 after six, so good. I guess. Watched the first of the two episodes of Elementary that started at five and then decided to skip the second to lie down on the bed and finish a movie I'd started earlier. Television and the tablet. Seems to be a trend.

More a rut than a trend.

Well, yes. Talked with my sister on the phone and she mentioned she'd fallen into the same trap, television and Netflix (to include Mr. Sunshine), so maybe we're not alone in this.

At the 2016 Oakland Chinatown StreetFest taken with a Nikon D5 mounted with a 70-200mm f 2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
