I'd Say

Wednesday. A somewhat uneven night, but to bed early enough and to sleep early enough, getting up twice (again) as has become the uninvited habit. Awake just before the alarm to get up and out the door without undue effort. So good. The day ahead, time to catch up on the construction photographs and such I delayed processing these last two days in order to get the Folsom Street photographs processed and posted. Hup!

Do you really need to go through all this to get you started? Hup! and the rest of that crap?

Yup.

And so some time spent working with Monday's and Tuesday's neglected construction site photographs, starting a little slowly as I've O.D.'d after these last two days in Lightroom/Photoshop. Too bad I don't apply similar energy here. There was a time and, well, maybe there'll come another time (in another place on another planet).

A bus downtown to pick up vitamin B-12, as I was down to my last day's supply, a bus then back to get off at the 7-11 look-alike for an ice cream bar and two of the one liter size bottles of Diet Coke. Haven't had Diet Coke in a while, bought it more because I had room in the bag I'd brought for the vitamins and figured - what the hell? - how many times have I skipped picking any up in the past for this very reason?

More pictures at the construction site, they seem to be pouring cement in areas I'm not able to position myself to photograph, but found one or two I like from up top where the temporary fence that blocked access has now been removed opening up the view.

Back at the apartment to (maybe) work on the web pages for the construction site (we certainly are behind in this little effort), listen to the news (as I'm always listening to the news) and maybe continue watching an Australian detective series I've recently discovered on the tablet lying in bed in front of the fan.

Evening. More time on the tablet with the Australian detectives (lying on the bed in front of the fan). I can't quite make out all the dialogue with the Australian accent, so there are surprises in who is about to do what to whom, but obviously an interesting series or I wouldn't be watching it. A laid back self indulgent day, I'd say, should anyone ask.

The photo up top was taken Sunday at the Folsom Street Fair with a Nikon D4s mounted with a 70-200mm f/2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
