This 19th Day Of
Wednesday. To bed early again after a pretty good evening, maybe we're on a roll. Up fighting it a bit with the alarm, but off to breakfast and back on a grey overcast morning, a decent looking day ahead. A run to pick up a prescription refill a little later and the day's scheduled tasks are done. About right. Don't want to overdo it now that fall is approaching, need to take it easy and fatten up for the winter.

That's enough.

Later. A bus ride downtown to go by the pharmacy, a bus ride back to the apartment. Cold out this morning, no thought to go by the City Center and sit out at a table, no thoughts at all actually, back home now to take a nap. A long night's sleep and a nap? Well, I guess that's where it's at.

It's now three in the afternoon, I've had some time on the guitar, although not a lot of time on the guitar, and I haven't followed through on two small tasks, although they'll be done later today or tomorrow. I guess that's good, as good as we're going to be on this not so particularly notable day in August.

Ah, right, September. Well, you get the drift.

Later still. The evening seems more solid and clear as the evenings tend to be around here. Nothing much on television, but a fair amount of time on the guitar. To bed at a decent hour would be a good idea, start over again tomorrow. This 19th day of August September.

The photo up top was taken yesterday at Telegraph and Broadway in downtown Oakland with a Nikon D4 mounted with an 105mm f 2.8 Micro VR Nikkor lens.
