Rest

Tuesday. Another sleepless night watching the clock tick off the hours until around four when it suddenly became a quarter to six. Still, up at the usual time to drive to the Lakeshore ATM under clear skies and a soon to be bright sun and then on over the hill to park by the 7-11 store, walk across Grand and enter the restaurant to sit at my indoor dining area table and start on the papers. Yes, an uneven night, but even so felt reasonably good.

An avocado, mushroom and cheese omelet, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee, finishing up after nine to walk to the car (a Budweiser beer truck parked right beside it hemming it in on the street) and driving straight home to take the selfie in the lobby, visit the bathroom and sit down at the computer to start this. Tired and so broke the routine to get up and go to the bedroom to lie down and take what turned out to be an hour and a half nap, putting off finishing this until later.

Later. Hooked up the car battery to the charging unit after noon. I've been doing more driving lately these last few months and I've wondering how much of a charge it will require. Time will tell.

The blood pressure has been running higher than it has and so four of the blood pressure meds to keep it halfway in line, two doses in the early afternoon that seemed to have little effect. Four in one day again. And that's been the afternoon between naps and going back and forth between two series on the tablet.

Evening. Nothing I wanted to watch on television and so to bed to catch up on last night's lack of rest.

The photo up top was taken at the 2014 Folsom Street Fair with a Nikon D4s mounted with a 70-200mm f/2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
