Manners In The Morning
Monday. To bed fairly late last night as I got into putting together the images from the wedding. Straightening all this out, getting them transferred to the main computer when I get home is going to be interesting. But that's tomorrow. Or Wednesday.

I packed last night before going to bed (again, well after midnight) and got up this morning after eight to finish the packing and moving the luggage (suitcase, laptop, hats and the rest) to the car before having breakfast with my sister in the hotel dining room.

Later. Off to Oakland, all three hundred and seventy miles of it, six hours, ten-thirty to four-thirty and here I am now at the apartment. Fairly buzzed. Maybe look at some more of those pictures.

Evening. Pictures and more pictures, feeling, again, fairly awake and up on the curve. The wave. The whatever. I was noticing that in Pasadena, the clear headed none of the old crap I've been experiencing showing itself through any of it. I wonder. Might it last? Is it being away from the apartment? From Oakland? Anyway, photographs tonight until well after midnight (again), we'll see if this all catches up with us and teaches us our manners in the morning.

The photo up top was taken at the Castle Green wedding yesterday in Old Town Pasadena with a Nikon D4 mounted with an 70-200mm f 2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
