Home

Thursday. Awake and up about half an hour later than usual, having turned the lights out by ten feeling, well, crappy. Separated out the advertising sections from the papers to find more advertising than you'd usually see on Sundays.

Back to bed to read the papers, but still feeling like crap. Moped around the apartment for most of the morning and then decided to see if a walk might not clear the head. It didn't. Lots of people out walking the lake on a Thanksgiving morning, sunny with a nice bite to the air, but the head and sinuses remained fucked. Dear-oh-dear.

So we go back into our little Tramadol conversation. Three days now without taking it. Is the sinus-upper palate-funky head caused by the sinuses no longer being handled by the Tramadol or is the body reacting to the lack of Tramadol? Dependence raising its ugly head?

More time lying down, listening to the radio and checking out the tablet, up again to take a dose of the pain meds. Gave up after three days, this last day trouble. An hour later felt better. Much better. This isn't done and I'm suspecting I need to talk with someone who specialzes in this stuff.

A walk to the 7-11 look-alike to pick up an ice cream bar and maybe chips and bean dip. But they were out of bean dip. Maybe for the best, ate the ice cream bar walking home.

The photo up top was taken from the journal entry run one year ago today with a Nikon D4 mounted with a 24-120mm f 4.0 VR Nikkor lens.
