Work
Tuesday. Took some time to get to sleep to then awaken just before six to half listen to Democracy Now! before getting up and walking to breakfast under clear skies, the weather people saying a high of seventy degrees later today. Arrived and entered the closed off dining room, turn on the lights and settle in with the papers. A nice walk, fairly clear headed, decent energy and not tired.
The plain waffle with sliced bananas and strawberries (with a sprinkle of powdered sugar), fruit cup and coffee, the weight somewhat less on the scale this morning. Finished up after nine, setting out for home to take the usual series of flower pictures without a thought of shooting anything other. No complaints. A bicyclist at the 580 Overpass light, another line of Gruv scooters by the lake and a selfie in the apartment house lobby.
Later. It did indeed reach seventy degrees, they're saying it will reach eighty tomorrow, none of which seems to have given me an ounce of interest in getting outside. More time on the tablet, more time half listening to or reading the news, “half” in the sense of avoiding reading or listening to the same crap over and over and over. Times have indeed changed around here.
Evening. Watched episode four of Last Tango In Halifax, a series I avoided in the past, but seem to have gotten into this time around. Nothing else on TV I wanted to stay up for and so to bed again before nine to (what else?) listen to the BBC News until ten. Seems to be the norm, this lights out at or just after ten, and it does seem to work.
