Anymore

Tuesday. Lights out and to sleep well before ten last night to awaken then at a quarter to six. Too early, but so was lights out, and so dawdling along getting ready to walk to breakfast in order to not leave too early and end up waiting for the restaurant staff to arrive. Overcast and quite cool, although the eyes didn't water all that much. I've gotten in the habit of bringing paper napkins for the eyes and nose and have trouble keeping them on hand. Arrived at five minutes to seven, the restaurant evidently open well before I arrived.

Ordered the plain waffle with sliced bananas and strawberries, fruit up and coffee, finishing up around twenty after eight. Documented the two cent per gallon of regular price increase because it's baked into my routine, skipped a photograph of the few remaining pandorea flowers as there were people at an outside table too close by and did the usual photo routine on the way back to the apartment.

The day starts reasonably well for being overcast and cold. We'll see what develops.

Later. A walk to the bus stop to catch a bus to the Broadway ATM and then a pass by the construction sites fronting Webster and Valdez, first the Webster site, then the back of the Webster site at 23rd opposite the site that burned last year in its framing stage, leaving but five minutes to wait on the bus back home. Good. Something accomplished this early afternoon.

Listened to the news, but then remembered there'd been a new Elementary episode last night (starting at ten, past my bedtime) and so lied down on the bed to watch it on the tablet. Tired. Made sense. Figured I'd finish listening to The News Hour later at six, put off hearing more of the screwball antics going on in Washington. In D.C., not the state.

Evening. Nothing on television, although I took a quick look at the Doc Martin episode at seven (why do I continue to do that?), but returned to the tablet where I'd been watching a subtitled Korean series I'd found on Netflix. Not too bad. Watched until just after nine when I turned out the lights, my own lights out not all that long after.

You're fibbing. It was well after ten, if you care to remember.

Care to remember? If I can remember is more accurate anymore.
