Time

Friday. Lights out by ten to get a fairly uneventful night's sleep, but awakening fifteen minutes late at six-thirty thinking, well, no big deal and so out the door to arrive at seven fifteen and settle down with the papers. Ordered the French toast with sliced bananas and strawberries, fruit cup and coffee. Still a pound under target on the scale this morning, but ordered it more because that's what appealed.

Bright sun on the way home, warmer, although it wasn't all that cold walking in, taking the usual pictures to include the selfie in the lobby when I got home. Finished yesterday's entry rather sloppily before posting. We seem to have gotten into our various ruts, for good and bad and, sloppy or not, and so fight any thought of making changes.

Feel OK, no sign of yesterdays tiredness at the edge of feeling dizzy, but maybe a nap now just because the idea sounds better than any alternative. The Saint Patrick's Day Parade in San Francisco starting at eleven tomorrow. I'd like to go, I would, but not if I feel like this, functional, but not enthusiastic.

Later. A bus to the bagel shop in the City Center to have a bagel sandwich and coffee at the usual table out under the sun to then walk back up Broadway to the Webster/Grand Avenue stop and take a bus home. Didn't take a picture of the construction site across from Latham Square, as I didn't bring a camera with a wide enough lens and, to be truthful, wasn't in the mood. The sinus-upper palate acting up, otherwise reasonably coherent, but this nose-sinus-upper palate thing isn't getting any better as the pain meds don't seem to have an effect.

Did clean up the desk a bit, took care of a couple of bills, we're not to the point we let any of the usual payments get out of hand, and listened to more news on the Christchurch mosque shootings that have been dominating the news. New Zealand. The place everyone wants to escape to. The world is nuts.

Evening. A good later afternoon and evening, the sinus-upper palate behaving. Nothing much on television and so to bed by eight. We'll be careful and set the alarm this time.

The photo up top was taken at the 2018 San Francisco Chinese New Year Parade with a Nikon D5 mounted with a 70-200mm f 2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
