Art & Life

March 14, 2019

After

Thursday. Lights out by ten to enter into fall into another in and out of sleep nights, awakening at just before six to get up and get ready to walk to breakfast on another clear, but cold eyes watering day, the restaurant open.

Settled in and ordered the two strips of bacon, eggs over medium, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee for no particular reason, the weight again a pound and a half under target on the scale this morning and ended up reading until ten minutes after nine. Not sure why I took longer to finish the papers as there was very little reported that I was unaware of from yesterday.

Does it matter?

No. Just noting. Life will probably not end if I spend ten minutes more than usual reading the news (or skipping rope outside the restaurant, for that matter).

The walk back under a bright sun feeling a little wobbly, not sure why. The usual pictures before arriving home to look at yesterday's entry, a long much in need of editing (which it didn't get) bloviation that I posted and then lied down on the bed for a while to clear the head. Started feeling tired to the edge of dizzy getting home, feel tired now, maybe go and lie down a little longer.

Later. The tired and dizzy feeling lifted before noon and so took a bus to the Broadway ATM and then took the usual photographs of the two construction sites at 2330 Webster and 2302 Valdez, as there wasn't a return bus due for another fifteen minutes. Still had nine minutes to go when I'd finished with the pictures and so walked to the 7-11 look-alike for a pint of strawberry ice cream on the way back to the apartment. The idea of ice cream won out over a grilled chicken sandwich. It happens.

A little tired from the walk getting home, but none of the feeling close to nonsense, so sat and ate the ice cream while listening to the news. Sunny outside, looks nice, while listening to the news.

Evening. Didn't go outside again, watched this and that on the tablet, stayed up to see what episode they were playing on Vera at eight. Turned out to be one I'd seen before and so to bed before nine to listen to the BBC and turn the lights out soon after.

Walking home from breakfast this morning taken with a Nikon 1 V3 mounted with a 30-110mm f 3.8-16 VR Nikkor 1 lens.
