Bummer

Thursday. Lights out after the six minute news broadcast at ten to sleep straight through until ten minutes to six after what I'm guessing was a pretty good night's rest. Raining hard, when I awoke as they've been forecasting, so up slowly to prepare to drive to breakfast, heading out the door a quarter to seven. Which was fine.

Had the French toast with sliced bananas and strawberries, fruit cup and coffee for breakfast over the papers, finishing five minutes before the meter ran out.

Still raining hard when leaving the restaurant and so snapped an out of focus picture of the pandorea buds (it was raining hard enough I didn't stick around for a second shot) and one of the sidewalk on the way to the car. Dark and raining, but we can use the water and so we can hunker down inside for the day as there's nothing on the schedule until the dentist tomorrow.

Later. The violent chills came on after eleven and lasted through the mid-afternoon before they laid off, if I kept myself wrapped up warm enough, leaving me the fever. I'm assuming the flu. Maybe not as bad a flu since I did get the flu shot? Dizzy when standing and so to bed. Bummer.
