Day

Tuesday. One thing about recovering from an ocular migraine is you have no trouble going to sleep and to sleep I did go last night by eight, awakening at a quarter to six this morning feeling well rested and ready for the day. Raining, of course, as it had been raining when I went to sleep last night, they're saying it will rain through the rest of the week. So, of course, a drive to breakfast.

Had the plain waffle with sliced bananas and strawberries along with the fruit cup and coffee for breakfast. Thought about ordering something else, but after last night figured best to take it easy. Nothing I could think that I'd eaten yesterday that would bring on an ocular migraine, unless the Good & Plenty had a hand in it. I did eat the rest of that box. Licorice? Or do the foods, if truth be known, no longer play a part? I have no idea. Feel good right now. Go with it.

Still raining and so we'll have to invent our day indoors. Laundry? Start it now, later than I usually do? Is anyone else doing their laundry right now?

Later. Ten o'clock and the sun is out and the sky is looking blue. At least where I'm sitting here in Oakland. The Weather Underground people are saying rain later this evening, but this sun could easily last through the day. Hey. So much for the idea of doing the laundry.

Later still. Walked over to the burger drive-in and picked up a grilled cheese sandwich, dinked around for a while and then put the laundry together and headed down to the laundry room to have the dry mouth suddenly arrive and things suddenly got dodgy.

Dodgy?

None of the ocular sparkly stuff, but the unpleasant dry mouth combined with a bit of wobbliness.

Wobbliness?

Well, feeling unstable. Loaded the washing machines and returned to the bedroom to lie down until the first two loads were done. Felt somewhat better, although the dry mouth remained. Good. Put the first two loads in the drier and reloaded the two washers with the last of the laundry. Good. Folded and hung the first two loads and then back down on the bed again. Thus has the afternoon gone.

Evening. All now seems to go well. The dry mouth and such went away in the late afternoon and so I continued to lie in bed to finish watching up a couple of things on the tablet after catching Democracy Now! on television. Up again and fold socks as I watched Charlie Rose. The first half or so of Charlie Rose.

This exposition has been overly disjointed and choppy, don't you think?

As has been this day.
