But The Foolish
Sunday. Ah yes. Back from the hospital to the apartment in mid-afternoon. To bed. More here maybe tomorrow. I'm not guaranteeing anything, um, “strenuous”, duty above the call. Best to sleep. There were one or two things that cropped up during the operation that made it a bit more complicated than normal and, although it will take longer to recuperate, the hard part of it (they say, my body says) is over and I'm looking forward to my first mundane day when I can, say, eat again. Mundane is good. Simple is good. Excitement associated with doctors is to be avoided for all but the foolish. You learn with time, even here in Oakland.

The photograph was taken at a Red Egg and Ginger party in San Francisco with a Nikon D3 mounted with a 24 - 70mm f 2.8 Nikkor G lens at 1/200 second, f 2.8, ISO 2500.
