Yes It Did
Tuesday. The day spent inside installing XP on a new hard drive in the big desktop - which is fine, raining as hard as it was - along with all the various device drivers, printers, software programs and every other damned thing rebuilding a computer requires. I didn't lose my contacts list or email folders, that's pretty nice, but I had to call Adobe to get another access code when the screen informed me I'd installed Dreamweaver too many times. Right. Photoshop loaded without incident, but dear oh dear do I have a lot of software hidden about. If I were smart I'd make the various “in case of failure” backups people are supposed to make (who are these people?) in case of failure - it always fails at exactly the wrong time - and I think I'll, well; I think I'll think about it.

I mentioned the rain? It rained all day. Yes it did.

The photograph was taken of a display in the offices of an Oakland shipping company with a Nikon D2Xs mounted with a 105mm f 2.8 Nikkor VR Micro lens at 1/45 second, f 2.8, ISO 400.
