After

Saturday. To sleep soon enough, but awoke a couple of times early in the morning to take a leak, awakening for good just before six to get up and set out walking to breakfast under a bright sun. The weather people are saying into the mid-seventies later and it feels like it. Arrived to settle in at my inside table and start on the papers.

The avocado and mushroom omelet, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee for no particular reason, finishing up just after nine to set out for home, thinking am I going to have to run to the bathroom to avoid a problem when I arrive? Turned out OK, but just. The usual string of flower snapshots to keep me amused, finding a bee on one, not something you see much of anymore with global warming, killer pesticides and fewer flowers.

Home to take the selfie before settling down to finish and post yesterday's entry, process the morning photographs and start here. Well, to turn on the PGA tournament at noon and continue with this when it was over at three.

Later. Weird. Jon Rahm, today's PGA tournament leader, has tested positive for COVID and won't be playing tomorrow in the final. He was leading by six strokes.

Otherwise watched the end of a movie on the tablet and then started on television news at five as per our habit. Habit, habit.

Evening. Nothing on television again and so to bed before nine. Nothing I want to listen to on the radio on Saturday nights either, so lights out not long after.

The photo up top was taken at the 2013 San Francisco Carnaval Parade with a Nikon D4 mounted with a 70-200mm f 2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
