Done

Monday. Lights out by ten after a pretty good day after running around yesterday shooting pictures at the LGBT Parade. A period of light headedness there for a minute or two, but otherwise reasonably clear headed and ambitious all through the following afternoon. Not over the top, but what we can call success for these days, I'd say.

Anyway, awake at six-ten to head out the door and into a light fog, some very light beads of water forming while walking, but not enough to really get damp, let alone wet. If that makes sense. Arrived three minutes before the waitress arrived to open the restaurant and ordered the single pork shop, eggs over medium, country potatoes, toast and coffee for breakfast. Not many people about after a really sunny, warm and crowded weekend.

The usual walk home. Took pictures of the gas price reduction I'd missed yesterday and cheated by posting them in yesterday's entry. The usual pictures on the way home, still overcast, a line of Lime bikes by the lake and so a photograph. Not sure why they've snagged my interest. Some nascent thought one day one will come blasting by from behind and put me on my butt? No, although that's one of the thoughts you hear expressed. They'll work it out.

Nothing on the schedule for the day other than working on the parade pictures. I still have a May Day section to finish, but I'm continuing to feel good about getting them done. We'll see. I need to have the car smog checked. Maybe today, maybe tomorrow.

Later. Processed more pictures, watched a bit of the Iran-Portugal World Cup match, took a single picture up the way at the construction site, just to get a little air, and then settled in with the news before taking a nap. Sounds familiar, similar to yesterday afternoon and so many afternoons before it.

Evening. There was a Father Brown I skipped after watching it for three or four minutes at eight, otherwise time on the tablet in between bouts of listening to the news on the radio. Lights out before ten and another day is done.
