Time For A Nap
Crap. I have got to stop talking about the office. Today's meeting was a pep rally. "Yes, yes, you've heard bad things, but good stuff's coming so go back to your desks and get to work." As I said, no more talk about the office.
Left early. No firewall computer from Airborne. Another package from Amazon. More Turbo Tax software, a couple of CD's and a copy of The Lives of the Muses by Francine Prose. I have received a number of new books this last month, none of which I've read beyond the first chapter. Maybe I'll know I'm getting beyond this recuperation thing when I start reading. Or have I talked about this? The lack of interest in reading before and after the operation? Which operation? When? The mind wanders and it's time for a nap.
