Guess

Sunday. Awoke not long before six to get up and get ready to drive to breakfast under clear skies (who cares what the temperature is when you're riding in a car?) morning to arrive before seven, find the restaurant dark and so enter through the dining area door again to turn on the lights and attack the Sunday papers.

An avocado and mushroom omelet, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee breakfast for no particular reason to wade through the papers and finish not too long after nine to snap the sidewalk picture and drive home, taking the usual selfie before settling in at the computer to clean up yesterday's entry and before posting. Then found another error in two of the picture descriptions, corrected the errors and posted again. Part of the routine, I guess, finding errors at the last minute and wondering how many I may have missed.

The last round of the Phoenix Open starts at noon followed by the Super Bowl at three-thirty. I suspect if we're going to get any walking in, we'd better do it now.

Ha!

Well, it is sunny. Stranger things have happened.

Later. Watched the Phoenix Open from noon until after three, broken up with an hour's nap starting around two, the tournament ending in a two player tie that was settled on the first playoff hole. Wished at the time it had gone longer as all the rah! rah! Super Bowl buildup that goes on forever before the game I find unwatchable. Similarly with all the God Bless America military hype that goes way over the top. But that's me as I'm assuming hoards of people are happily going along with it.

Maybe it's easier to manage it at a watch party with a few drinks under your belt.

More than a few drinks, I'd think.

Close to all of the “who's going to this win” guesses are with the Chiefs and I suppose they know what they're talking about, although it's the end of the first half with the teams in a ten point tie. A good game so far.

Evening. A good game, the Chiefs pulling it out in the last half of the fourth quarter. Still, good games are good games. I guess.

The photo up top was taken at the January, 2016 March For Bernie gathering at Lake Merritt with a Nikon D4s mounted with an 70-200mm f/2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
