As Well

Wednesday. Lights out at a decent hour and what I I seem to remember being a good night's sleep, awakening at six-forty and heading out the door in good spirits to walk to breakfast. Clear skies and sun so far, managing to talk myself out of starting the laundry when I got home. “No need to do it today” said a little voice that managed to dominate the conversation.

Later. Some of the usual hesitation, but finally a bus downtown to Latham Square where I took another set of pictures, the area starting to look as if they're going to have the thing finished before too long. Not as soon as the apartment house project, photographed on the way back, as they seem to be moving beds and couches and such into the building. Not many, one or two vans and trucks over these last couple of days, but from the look of it they seem to have started.

Another section of Latham Square photographs to the web sites. None of today's pictures, we'll have to wait until we have more in hand, but it's now current through the end of January.

Evening. Finished up a couple of movies I've been watching on the tablet one ten minute segment at a time before sitting down to watch Democracy Now and picking up the guitar to run through the usual set of chords and routines along with it. Still can't play worth a damn, but I can play not worth a damn better. You'd be surprised. I, as well.

The photo up top was taken at the San Francisco 2015 Vietnamese Tet Festival with a Nikon D4s mounted with an 70-200mm f/2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
