With A Book
Wednesday. A decent rain last night from the sound of it, rain this morning. Not much chance of getting a walk in later unless it stops. But I guess that's obvious.

Otherwise, suck it up, straighten up, take a bath, take a nap, get on with it. Without walking taking up the center of today's attention we can do something else. Probably the very thing described in the next paragraph.

Later. The clouds have broken, the sun is shining (mostly) and it's early afternoon. Time now for that nap.

Later still. More clouds, more rain, nap done, time to watch the news on public television.

Later still gain. So, evening, after a bath. Maybe a little television later, watch a Netflix movie now, curl up with a book.

Curl up with a book?

There was a time when I read them like naps.

Like M & M's!

Like popcorn at the theater in the dark!

The photograph was taken last week at Lake Merritt with a Nikon D3 mounted with an 24 - 70mm f 2.8 Nikkor G lens at 1/3200th second, f 2.8, ISO 200.
