By Far

Thursday. A pretty good night, lights out after nine and to sleep and awaken but once briefly around four, back to sleep and then up for the day at seven. Still just the tail end of the diarrhea, but the end without a need to not get far from a bathroom. Anyway, that was the thought. Best to knock on wood. Be careful. He said.

Another drive to breakfast, no thought to take any chances although, again, feeling much better. Another large meal and then back to the apartment at nine to then pretty much zone out for the rest of the day. Rain, lots of rain, they're saying it will clear up tomorrow and through the weekend (the Oakland Holiday Parade is coming up Saturday and I want to take pictures). Good to have the rain, better that it comes during the week and not over a weekend.

And that's been about it. Weighed 151, four pounds under my 155 pound target, this morning. Don't feel hungry and the body/weight looks/feels pretty good, but I'm wondering if this sequence of ever lower weight might at some point signal trouble. But we'll think about that tomorrow.

Evening. A walk over to the burger place late in the afternoon to pick up a chicken sandwich and fries. Sort of hungry, but haven't really eaten since breakfast, so figured I'd give it a try. They make a good grilled chicken sandwich and there are enough fries in one order to last for a couple of days. Traditional American fast food, in this case good tasting, nicely prepared, but enough calories in one meal to feed a family of four. Well, three.

Nothing on television, watched a couple of things on the tablet, but to bed and lights out not long after nine. Still have the diarrhea thing going on, it's just that it now seems under control. Let's hope it's under control. You forget these events as they thankfully don't happen very often, these food poisoning whatever they are episodes, but it's no fun being in the middle of one.

And reading about them is less than pleasant.

Too much information?

By far.
