Tomorrow
Wednesday Awoke finally at six-fifteen, the chest feeling fine again, which is good. Listened to the rest of Democracy Now! and more of what happened with the Democratic convention last night before setting out to walk to breakfast, noting the smoke to the south from the forest fires that are burning throughout the state, taking another on the way for the light. Arrived to settle in at the patio table and start on the papers. So far, so good.
The plain waffle with sliced bananas and strawberries, fruit cup and coffee this time, finishing up just after nine to set out for home taking pictures of usual set of flowers as the mood struck, the sun bright, the temperature getting up there, but still not uncomfortable in the light jacket and t-shirt. Thinking about getting the flu shot, if not today, then tomorrow.
Arrived home, took the selfie in the lobby and settled in to go through the usual edit and post routine, noting an email from the local Safeway mentioning they give flu shots at their in store pharmacy. Forgot I'd gotten one there some time back. OK, flu shot tomorrow at Safeway, maybe do some grocery shopping as well?
Later. A high of just over eighty, definitely smoke in the air, but nothing like what I'm seeing over San Francisco and other areas on the television news reports. Fires all over the place and so staying here inside not doing much more than listen to the news.
Evening. One of the pundits suggested listening to the Democratic convention was like listening to a never ending Marriott hotel commercial. Well, I'm not remembering any Marriott hotel commercials at the moment, but it struck a chord and so I managed to listen to some of the speeches but soon gave up. Nothing else of interest on television this evening and so to bed. Be interesting to see if I in fact do manage to get that flu shot tomorrow.
