Great

Wednesday. To sleep after ten to awaken before six without the chest aching from sleeping in a weird position last night, a first for this in a very very long time. Because I went to sleep on my right side, rather than my almost always left side? Might. Cross our fingers this isn't the only time it happens. Up and out the door to walk to breakfast under overcast skies, they're saying sunny and as high as seventy degrees later, arriving five minutes early to find the tables weren't quite in place, but helped them with mine before settling in with the papers.

The two strips of bacon, scrambled eggs, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee for no particular reason, finishing up not long after nine to walk home taking the usual series of pictures, the defacing of the Black Lives Matter sign a little disturbing. The sky still overcast and cool, but comfortable as I was walking, the head reasonably clear to the point of not really thinking about it, more flower pictures and a photo of the entrance to the building they've been renovating now for what seems like forever.

Home by nine-thirty to take the selfie, post yesterday's entry and start processing this morning's pictures, finishing just before noon.

Later. Another afternoon of “do I want to watch this on the tablet” to ultimately pick up three or four I'd given up on some time back to get through the afternoon, interspersed with listening to the news now dominated by the choice of Kamila Harris for Joe Biden's Vice Presidential running mate. None of this was quite enough to get me outside and leave this stuff behind. Not sure why.

Evening. I'd seen the Midsomer Murders episode that started at eight, didn't want to see it again and so to bed. Tired. Shouldn't have any trouble at all getting to sleep. Curious to see how the chest holds up in the morning, two mornings in a row without soreness would be just great.

The photo up top was taken at the 2017 San Francisco LGBT Pride Parade with a Nikon D5 mounted with a 70-200mm f 2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
