Goodnight!

Wednesday. Lights out by ten after having totally burned out on the various movies and television series I've been watching on the tablet. Burned out for various reasons, many of them because, although the programs and acting are often excellent, all the characters are creeps or, at least, not overly likable. More me and my changing tastes (increasingly crabby character) perhaps, but still true. Still me. Deedle-dee-dee.

Anyway, awake at six to turn on Democracy Now and get ready for breakfast, the idea of walking inconceivable for about the first five minutes, but perfectly sensible by the time I was ready to leave. As it is most mornings. A single pork chop breakfast and the walk back home, taking one or two pictures (the pandorea flowers are gone now - are they remembering to water/take care of the vines?). Keeps the walk interesting, though, taking one or two pictures.

Need to go by an ATM, so we'll be getting out the door for another walk later, just not sure if I can come up with somewhere else more interesting to go in conjunction with it. Go on to Latham Square? Why? We're done with the Square. Jack London Square? Another square that no longer calls. Well. We've gone through this before. For all the carping, the mood remains reasonably good.

Later. A bus to the ATM on Broadway to then turn right around and go home, still in the middle of our long conversation about where to go and what to do. Another interminable, low key, but seemingly never ending discussion with self before heading out, continuing on the bus both to and back. Without any resolution or result.

I did notice the phone number I'd blocked yesterday had called later that afternoon from an entry in the phone's recent calls list. So it worked. Good. I now know how to block a caller. We'll see if this particular caller is really evil and calls later from a phone with a different (off by a few digits) number.

Evening. Watched one and then another of the Law & Order episodes that play all day Wednesdays on channel 65. They mix both the arrest and the trial in ways I find interesting. Sometimes. Hit and miss, but I generally check it out on Wednesdays as I did this afternoon and evening.

This is the way we ride into the sunset? Watching old cop programs on channel 65?

A fitting end to a life spent battling to save the world from imminent destruction.

Goodnight!

Goodnight.
