Eight

Monday. Awoke just before six after a good night's sleep. Up to discover the N.Y. Times hadn't been delivered with the Chronicle and the East Bay Times this morning and so walked to breakfast with two thin papers folded under my arm on an overcast and quite cool morning, arriving before seven to find the restaurant had just opened.

Two strips of bacon, scrambled eggs, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee for breakfast, finishing the two papers earlier than usual (of course) and so back to the apartment, the sky still overcast, the weather people saying rain later in the afternoon.

Later. A bus to the ATM on Broadway, passing by the return bus just as we arrived and so a walk to the construction sites on Webster and Valdez for a few pictures since I now had the time. A walk then half way home before another bus arrived at a stop just as I walked by. Tired. Home to lie down as it approached eleven.

Later still. They're saying rain now starting this evening rather than in the early afternoon. Decided my experiment in stopping the pain meds wasn't going to work as the sinus-palate crap has gotten much worse after I stopped taking them last week. We'll see.

Evening. Watched Those Who Kill, a two episode Danish detective series at six. A bit too much serial killer and too little detective for my taste. Don't need to watch serial killers doing their work. But still, interesting enough to continue watching til the end. Bed not long after eight.

The photo up top was taken a the 2018 Saint Stupid's Day Parade with a Nikon D500 mounted with a 24-120mm f 4.0 Nikkor VR lens.
