Out

Monday. Warm last night. Not sure if it was just the apartment or the evening temperature, but lights out before ten to awaken then at six-twenty, after what I'm guessing (lots of guessing these days) was a good night's rest. Today to be as good as yesterday? Not sure I've had a day as good as yesterday in quite some time. Anyway a walk to breakfast playing a little loose with the image of the moon.

Had the avocado and cheese omelet, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee for breakfast. A pound and a half over target on the scale, this morning, but we weren't in the mood to keep track. We'll be careful through the the rest of the day, minding the weight has not been a problem now in the last number of years.

Bright sun walking home, the usual pandorea and sidewalk pictures along with one of the flowers blooming now in profusion below the old Lakeview school. On under the 580 overpass to be overtaken by the runner again, getting in two snapshots as she disappeared into the distance. Didn't get a shot when she returned coming toward me along her course, so she's serious about this running business.

Need to go by an ATM later and so there's something on the schedule that will get me out today. Nothing on television on Mondays and so maybe we can sneak in a little walking, maybe a couple of more pictures later this afternoon?

Later. A bus to the Broadway ATM and then a quick walk to the apartment house construction site a block off Grand on 23rd to take the usual set of pictures, returning to the bus stop with five minutes to spare. Except the bus was running ahead of schedule again. Caught it, but had to run waving to the driver. Life in the bus lane.

Home feeling unusually tired and so the afternoon has gone slowly, spending some hour or so on the bed. Not good, although it seems to have mostly passed along, now that it's after four in the afternoon. We'll be careful what we eat for breakfast tomorrow, no more cheese in particular. Oatmeal or a plain waffle.

Evening. Processed pictures, thinking maybe there'd be enough for two sections of Saint Stupid's Day photographs, we'll know sometime tomorrow. Otherwise watched the last half of a movie I'd started yesterday on the tablet, checked out Father Brown at eight (one I'd seen before and definitely didn't need to see again) and so went back to bed with lights out at ten. Again, we'll be careful with what we eat for breakfast tomorrow and see if it affects how the day turns out.

Yesterday at the Saint Stupid's Day Parade taken with a Nikon D500 mounted with a 24-120mm f 4.0 VR Nikkor lens.
