Lighter And Nice
Wednesday. To bed and then to sleep not long after ten, up with the alarm. It had obviously been raining last night, but the sky was now clear with the sun coming up on what looks as if it might be a nice day. Anyway, a breakfast (pancakes, this time, with butter and syrup) that I wasn't able to finish and now back home to prepare for this morning's eleven-thirty guitar lesson.

Are we ready?

We are more ready than we were at the beginning of this week, but how much more we'll soon enough discover.

Later. Not bad. Caught the bus downtown, got off at the stop near the building where I have the music lesson, sat in Latham Square for about five minute and then headed into the building and downstairs to the music room. Still a bit of construction going on.

Not too bad. I (finally) got through the lesson, we went over next week's assignment (which is kind of cool) and then back out the door to catch the approaching bus. Home, then a walk to the morning restaurant for a cheeseburger and a lemonade throwing caution to the wind. I've been working on Saint Stupid's Day pictures since without anything welling up to remind me of past cheeseburgers and what I've blamed them for bringing to pass.

Are you worried?

Nah. Not worried, just the usual too dumb to fret.

Later still. More work on the pictures, finally finishing them and posting them to artandlife. I may change one or two, redo one or two. They're OK, but won't win any medals in the world's great photography contest.

Evening. Played the guitar, watched television, played more guitar. Nothing later I really want to watch so we'll get to bed early again. Felt good after posting those pictures, though. Lighter. Nice.

The photo up top was taken yesterday at the Saint Stupid's Day Parade with a Nikon D4s mounted with an 70-200mm f/2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
