Returned To School
Monday. My resident (too long resident) cough seems to be leaving with some grace. I came home early today and took a nap. It is good to come home early and take a nap, I could become accustomed to coming home early and taking a nap as I could become accustomed to many things (money, fame, a staff photographer's job at the local brewery pub) if given the chance. Two weeks, though. Too long. My manager did greet us with an email this morning saying he had the flu and wouldn't be coming in. My, my. I wonder where he picked it up? Certainly not from me unless you can get it by passing in the hall.

What was that about?

Nothing. Of the many people in my immediate area at the office, only one of them has come down with the flu. Well, two, counting me. Probably something that hitched a ride in on some poor soul with youngsters who've recently returned to school.

Later. Two more people in my immediate area have been whacked with the flu, doodle-dee-do. Two, now four. Then six, then eight? Who do we appreciate? Here in Oakland?

The photograph was taken at the Oakland Art and Soul Labor Day weekend festival with a Nikon D2h mounted with a 17-55 f 2.8 Nikkor lens at 1/60th second at f 5.6 at ISO 200.
