Not Nearly Enough
Although the work verged on the crappy, the day was very good: Clear headed, no dizziness, tippity-tap foot tapping energy throughout. No complaints.
Tomorrow I attend a class in San Mateo near the San Francisco airport, a god awful commute over the San Mateo bridge through the worst of the bay area traffic, a two beer lunch day at the very least.
Does any of this mean a hill of beans? I've been listening to the PBS News Hour in the background, people blown to bits in Iraq, babies starving in Ethiopia. My own travails this day? Pissed over eating too many of those chocolates MSR laid out near her desk? Too many calories (wince! wince!)? How many too many chocolates did that tiny one year old six and a half pound baby on the screen have this afternoon? Not as many as I. They say there's too much information around. Perhaps there's not nearly enough.
