Back To Babble
Friday. Ah, well. Two power outages in the neighborhood this afternoon, the first lasting some thirty minutes, the second just a blip - off! on! - but the blip wiping out today's entry. Probably for the best as even with quite a bit of editing it was coming across as gibberish. Not good, gibberish, the idea being to create something that is at least readable. The subject matter? Well.

Yes, watched Elementary last night and got to bed late, but it didn't seem to slow me down this morning. Up and off to breakfast, back to take a nap before heading downtown on the bus to take one or two or three pictures. Coffee at Peet's, a walk back to the apartment. Then - blip! - with the journal editing software open and deep sixing the babble. Still, can't complain. What if I'd been on base? The words coherent? The direction exciting? You understand.

Dark out there now, although it's only five in the afternoon, we're clearly into the next season. Thanksgiving coming, Christmas coming.

And then?

And then they'll be gone and the days will begin getting longer! Hup!

I see we're back to babble.

The photo up top was taken at the Fruitvale Dia de los Muertos Festival with a Nikon D4 mounted with a 70-200mm f/2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
