Get It Done
Sunday. A lazy day Sunday, a late lunch at PCB, a Guinness and a Ploughman's platter: spicy Turkey sausage, Brie, cheddar, sliced apple, tomatoes and a baguette. Let's you just sit there and cruise. Too expensive, though, they've been raising prices.

Monday. Another beginning of a long week after a four day weekend. I decided to take this coming Friday off and prepare for my photo session on Saturday. Unfortunately the Oakland Holiday parade is also being held on Saturday, but what the hell, I've never gotten much in the way of pictures at past parades and I'm lazy. I sometimes worry about being lazy, but it's getting a little late in this life to worry over turning it around. I could ask to reschedule the studio time, but my instinct is I've got to get this done on Saturday or I'll never get it done. So there. Here or there. In Oakland.

The photograph was taken at the San Francisco Carnaval Parade with a Nikon D2x mounted with a 17-55mm f 2.8 Nikkor lens at 1/60th second at f 5.6 at ISO 100.
