Out The DoorSaturday. A walk downtown late this morning to have a salad at the crepe place in the City Center, as good a reason as any to get out of the apartment. Funky headed and all that, but a decent morning leading into a sunny afternoon with the high temperature projected in the mid sixties. There was some thought of going to watch the KFOG Kaboom! fireworks later this evening in Alameda, which is across the bay from Piers 30 and 32 where the event is playing in San Francisco. I guess I'd need a tripod and a telephoto lens. Needless to say I have a tripod and a telephoto lens. Too bad I don't have the necessary hair on my ass to get me up and out the door.
The photograph was taken at the San Francisco 2007 How Weird Street Faire with a Nikon D2Xs mounted with a 70-200mm f 2.8 Nikkor lens at 1/1000th second, f 2.8, ISO 100.
