Wednesday. Lights out after nine feeling a little depressed over the primary outcome to awaken then at five, blink a couple of times and awaken for good at ten minutes to six to get up and set out walking to breakfast on what I was thinking was a cold if clear morning, the eyes watering and the nose acting up. The restaurant was open when I arrived and so settled in at the table to go through the papers, skipping most of the election articles after my marathon session last night. No need to read about it twice.
The avocado and mushroom omelet, country potatoes, fruit cup and coffee for breakfast, finishing up somewhat early again by eight-thirty and setting out for home, taking the usual pictures of four flowers this time before reaching the Grand Lake theater traffic light. A picture of a bicycle rider, another picture of one of the flowers blooming below the Lakeview school in somewhat better focus and exposure this time. I may take one that works one of these days.
Passed by the small now completed construction site at the base of my hill to see the vines they'd planted on a trellis were now showing flowers. We'll take a closeup of one tomorrow. Nice. Home to take a somewhat ghoulish selfie in the apartment house lobby before seeing what I could do with yesterday's entry. Discovered errors and glitches I wasn't expecting and had to repost the thing twice.
Made a haircut appointment for this afternoon when passing the barber shop on the way home, maybe take a photograph of one of those flowers on the trellis later on the way.
Later. Tired for whatever reason and so lied down for an hour before heading out the door to the haircut, taking a picture of those flowers blooming on the trellis in passing, getting the haircut and returning home to crash in a chair to watch the PBS Newshour. Still tired.
Evening. To bed early to watch more “stuff” on the tablet. I'd flaked out by noon in doing any writing here and so added this tomorrow morning, not really remembering anything going on other than I was tired and spent the time more lying on the bed than anything more. A little depressed with yesterday's primary results - yes - and how the press is covering it, but that's been the norm throughout and was to be expected.
