Tomorrow
Sunday. To sleep early to awaken then at five, but zoning out until ten after six after a decent night's sleep. (I think.) Up to drive to breakfast and arrive before seven to find the restaurant open and so settled down inside with the papers. Lots of stories about the upcoming Democratic primaries on Tuesday underlining for me, at least, the fact we live in “interesting times”.
You repeat yourself.
Had the chicken-apple sausage, scrambled eggs, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee for breakfast, finishing up before nine. Documented the four cent drop in in the price of regular at the station across the street before walking to the car and driving home to take the selfie in the lobby and then settling in at the computer and posting yesterday's entry after correcting some obvious ‘glitches’. My writing in the mornings inevitably contains ‘glitches’.
Nothing on the schedule for the day. Watch the Honda Classic? Get outside and take one or two pictures?
Later. A walk to the Lakeshore ATM and back, going by a group painting Bernie Sanders banners and signs by Lake Merritt on the way home. A decent walk and a picture or two to start a Sunday. Hadn't realized I needed to go by the ATM earlier, but need I did and so we've gotten the walking in.
Got home before noon in time to watch the end of the Honda Classic, the lead passing back and forth through to the very end, a young twenty-one year old Korean professional the winner. I've never had any real desire to play the game, haven't been on a course since my school days, but it turns out they're interesting.
Evening. I think I've seen enough Elementary reruns to last for a lifetime and so skipped the two episodes that started at five and retired to the bedroom and the tablet. Listened to the radio starting at nine, as there's an interview program on NPR on Sunday nights that's sometimes of interest, but lights out and radio off again by nine-thirty. They're saying a high in the very low seventies for the primaries tomorrow.
