Sweden
Sunday. Awoke at five, blinked and awoke again at six to get up and out the door to walk to breakfast, as all traffic on Grand at the base of my hill has been restricted for the marathon and I wouldn't have had access on the way back home. Well, without getting on the highway and driving a very much longer way around. A snapshot while walking, the sidewalks actually crowded before seven in the morning on a Sunday. Forgot how many people participate in this thing.
Had the plain waffle with sliced bananas and strawberries, fruit cup and coffee for breakfast, the restaurant crowded by the time I'd finished at close to nine, a walk back with the sidewalk crowded with people in their running gear. They run a number of different length races, had some already run and finished one of the shorter ones?
More pictures than usual on the way home to arrive to take another selfie, edit and post yesterday's entry and then head out with two cameras this time to take pictures. None of them all that wonderful, but enough for a web section. Physically tired by now, but no weird head or unusual “tiredness” to blame it on.
More exercise McDuff!!
Keep the exclamation points to a minimum please.
Later. Watched the rest of the Valspar Championship golf tournament with a break to go out and pick up another grilled chicken sandwich at the burger drive-in for lunch. Hungry. Not unusual, even after an unusually large breakfast, which this morning's plain waffle isn't. Still, a good day, the head reasonably clear, the sinus-upper palate not all that bad.
Evening. Watched both episodes of Elementary that started at five, gave up on television not long after to lie down until eight and watch the Swedish Blue Eyes – The Surge, remembering where last week's chapter had ended when it started. One hopes things depicted in this one don't really go on in Sweden.
