Mattered
Monday. To sleep again not that long after ten to awaken just before six, setting out to walk to breakfast on a somewhat cool and overcast morning, passing by a flier for a stolen bicycle. Wondered if they were saying the tracking system on the bicycle identified it to be located near these fliers, but couldn't resolve it any closer. If so a first. Arrived at the usual time to enter the closed off dining area to turn on the lights and settle in with the papers.
The plain waffle with sliced bananas and strawberries, fruit cup and coffee, finishing at ten or so after nine to set out for home, taking the usual series or, at least, a subset of the usual series of flower pictures, some of them turning out better than others. Ah, well.
Still overcast, not particularly tired, passed by the graffiti covered entrance to the building they've been renovating for what seems like forever, a selfie in the lobby and then to the computer to wrestle with this, posting yesterday's entry and finishing up after noon. The blood pressure has been behaving, still have things I've got to get done this week, the smog-test, the shingles shot being two that have me flustered.
Later. Spent most of the afternoon on the tablet with the exception of half paying attention to the news programs that started at two and put off any writing here until the next morning. Tired? Not really, not what I'd call tired anyway. Watched Cursed, an odd one on Netflix where the bad guys include the Catholic church doing their best to exterminate the Fey - men, women and children - who are forest creatures with a name awfully close to gay I'd have to say.
Evening. Admit to watching Father Brown, more for a break from the tablet than any real interest in watching. Followed on by Part Two of The Bletchley Circle -Blood On Their Hands, but couldn't get into it and so gave up well before it finished. To bed again and the tablet until ten, but this time setting a record and not getting to sleep until one. Not sure why, but wide awake, lights out hadn't mattered.
