Wine And Thou
Late Friday afternoon looking toward twelve days of vacation. Except for the few hours I'll have to spend in the office catching up on Sunday. Doesn't count, does it? Twelve days when you come into the office on one? Fun in the sun except for one?

You're losing it.

Right. We'll start over. I mailed two of the three packages of pictures to the Dykes on Bikes ladies this morning. I'm still not happy with the print color I'm getting from the new digital camera. One set of prints looks fine, the other, to my eye, seem light. The good set looks like this, both on the screen and on photo paper; the second, the lighter set, looks like this, which I think is fine on the screen, but the color saturation of the prints made from the image has a "pastel" character that, I don't know, is maybe just what you're supposed to get with this new high speed snap shooter Nikon D2h. I said I was going to send it to Nikon for testing (and I will, I will) but I decided to send it after I return from this vacation. You need a digital camera on the road. You need many things on the road and a digital camera is one of them.

I have three Netflix movies for the weekend. I have the last of a second whiskey and water sitting on my desk at my wrist. "A loaf of bread, a glass of wine and thou." One out of three ain't bad, on a Friday, here in Oakland.

The banner photograph was taken Wednesday at a local Oakland Blues concert on 10th Street near Broadway with a Nikon D2h mounted with a 17 - 55mm f 2.8 Nikkor lens at ISO 200.
