Out

Saturday. OK, to sleep a little later than usual, but awakening at five-fifty after a reasonably good night's sleep to get up, take the blood pressure and find it exactly as I'd like to find it, then get back into bed and listen to the news on the radio until seven when it was time to get up and drive first to the Lakeshore ATM under overcast skies and then on to breakfast. Arrived to enter the indoor dining area and settle in at my table with the papers.

The two strips of bacon, scrambled eggs, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee to finish up by nine and cross Grand to the car, drive straight home and take the selfie in the lobby as always. Got to the apartment front door when the message was sent on no uncertain terms that I needed to get to the bathroom right away. At least it had put off its demands until the last minute.

Took the blood pressure and found it even better than it had been this morning. Go figure. Settled in at the computer, finished yesterday's entry before posting, processed the mornin pictures and started here.

Later. OK, went through all the boxes under the table in the living room, tossing a pile of old Model Railroader magazines along with others. So progress.

Felt tired, however and so lied down at three to end up sleeping until six-thirty. Completely unexpected, but similar to the nap taken yesterday.

Evening. Does a three hour nap along with a decent night's sleep the night before make it hard to get to sleep this night? Nothing on television and nothing on the radio and too much on Netflix and Prime that's putting me off and so I guess, now that it's well after nine, we'll find out.

The photo up top was taken at the 2014 San Francisco Carnaval Parade with a Nikon D4s mounted with an 70-200mm f/2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
