Morning

Thursday. Lights out early again to awaken a couple of times at four and then five before awakening for good at just before six. One day maybe I'll learn about going to sleep too early and how it affects when you wake up. Out the door to walk to breakfast on an overcast somewhat foggy morning, the temperature for that reason not so bad, to arrive at the restaurant before seven and find it open for business and so settled down at my table and started on the papers.

The avocado and mushroom omelet, country potatoes, toast, fruit up and coffee for breakfast, finishing up early again not long after eight-thirty to set out for home, take pictures of another two flowers in their planters, of a Lime scooter rider at the Grand Lake theater traffic light and the damaged sign someone had moved to the sidewalk below the Lakeview school. Home to take the selfie in the lobby and fix what I could in yesterday's entry before posting and starting on this. It seems to work as I keep doing it without a thought to stop. Too wonder out loud a bit, but no thoughts so far to stop.

Later. No desire whatsoever to go anywhere I could think of, but checked the phone bus app to see a bus was due in four minutes down the hill at my stop. Found myself on the bus with one minute to spare headed downtown, thinking where in the hell was I going? It was after noon. Lunch? Wasn't hungry, but that's what ended up happening: a salad and coffee at the City Center bagel shop inside at one of their tables and then walking home.

A good walk, longer than my run to the Lakeshore ATM yesterday, but not feeling as tired when I got home. Interesting sequence, though. No desire to go anywhere, but the body ignoring me completely and just getting up and heading out the door.

Evening. Another to bed after checking out Vera on PBS at eight (why do I continue to do this?) to continue with a series on the tablet, turning the radio on at nine to listen to the BBC News until nine-thirty and then turn off the radio and lights. Let's see how early we awaken tomorrow morning.

The photo up top was taken at the San Francisco 2010 Chinese New Year Parade with a Nikon D3s mounted with a 24-70mm f 2.8 G Nikkor lens.
