Morning
Saturday To sleep a little later than usual. I think. Not all that late, but awoke at seven-ten, way later than I have in the past and so up to hurry through the get out the door routine, using it as an excuse to drive rather than walk. Cut a corner there, I could have walked and still arrived close to the usual time. The blood pressure at least was 115/76, better than I'd hoped.
The beef patty, scrambled eggs, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee because I haven't had it in some time, more to eat than I really wanted, finishing up just after nine to walk to the car and drive home, the sky clear, the sun shining, the weather people saying a high of fifty-nine later this afternoon. Took the selfie in the lobby among the newly arrived Christmas decorations, settled in at the computer and finished yesterday's entry, posted it and started here. Life in the fast lane six days before Christmas in this pandemic year.
Later. A funky afternoon spent lying on the bed attempting naps and listening to the radio. Couldn't find anything I wanted to continue watching on the tablet with the series or movies I'd started. Do most people do that? Have five or six (or more) movies/TV series they're in the middle of? I suspect they do. Ended up the afternoon watching the Alabama/Florida game.
Evening. Bailed on the Alabama/Florida game toward the end, as it looked as if Alabama had it in the bag, checked out the PBS Saturday night movie and decided it wasn't something I wanted to watch and so went to bed. Nothing on the radio and so lights out early, we'll see if we wake up after seven again as we'd done this morning.
