Another

Thursday To sleep at the usual time just after ten to awaken briefly at ten or so minutes to five and then immediately zone out again and awaken for good at a quarter to seven. Not bad. Now to find out if the catalytic converter was still in the car. It was and so a drive to breakfast to arrive a little early, the kitchen staff in the kitchen, but the waitresses not there yet and so turned on the dining area lights and settled in at the very back table to start on the papers.

The single pork chop, scrambled eggs, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee, finishing up around five minutes before nine to snap the usual three pictures when driving the car and then go straight to the muffler shop where they welded steel cable around the catalytic converter to hopefully discourage theft.

Took twenty minutes for them to weld the cable in place. Drove straight back home to take the selfie and then settle in here at the computer to go through the usual routine with this. One last step remaining in protecting the catalytic converter and that's to arrange auto insurance that covers this kind of theft. Today. Well, more likely tomorrow.

Later. Took a nice long hot bath, spent the usual time half listening to the various news programs and spent way too much time watching a Korean period series that's reasonably interesting for the political plots and such and maddening as hell for the ongoing man meets woman interactions played as if the adults were eight years old and too shy to even hold hands, let alone connect as adults. A Korean cultural thing, you find it in too many of their movies and serials, even more inhibited than U.S. movies of the thirties. And that's been the afternoon.

Evening. OK, didn't sign up for more car insurance to cover catalytic converter theft, so we will do that tomorrow. I guess I knew that when I mentioned it this morning. Nothing on radio or television so to bed before nine.

I've been following the blood pressure noting the readings in the mornings and evenings and it's been edging up recently, so I've been taking a second dose of the meds in the evenings for the last few days if the reading seems too high. Seemed OK though this evening, so we'll make do with the usual dose I took this morning, but why is it acting up? If it isn't one thing, it's another.

The photo up top was taken at the 2016 San Francisco LGBT Pride Parade with a Nikon D5 mounted with a 70-200mm f 2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
